Bowcock and Pursaill successfully supported the asset purchase acquisition when client David Charlton decided to expand his pet grooming business, Posh Paws of Eccleshall.

Working with Partner Catherine Whittles to purchase the business assets and move his new acquisition to the same branding as his current business was a positive experience.

Catherine’s dog Tessa is a regular client at David’s groomers, and the expansion provided the perfect opportunity to offer some mutual support for a local business. Catherine’s bespoke, tailored approach to the transaction meant that David secured his new business with ease.

The purchase meant that David had also acquired staff that needed to move to the new company. Bowcock and Pursaill’s employment law specialist, Clare Thomas, stepped in to help with all HR work and setting up new employment contracts.

Now with 10 staff across two locations, David hasn’t ruled out future business acquisitions and says that Bowcock and Pursaill will be his first choice.
