B&P has supported Flora Aubrey, 23, through her professional development

Flora joined Bowcock & Pursaill in April 2018 as an Office Junior, following her A Levels. She commented: “When I first joined the firm, my responsibilities involved looking after the general admin of the office such as monitoring and ordering stationery, organising legal case files and various office duties to support the wider team.”

With a keen interest in the legal industry, Flora climbed the ranks within our Uttoxeter office to a Paralegal position where she maintains a high-level of professionalism when dealing with her colleagues and clients.

Through CILEx Law School, Flora is completing her Level 3 Diploma in Law and Practice with plans to undertake training to qualify as a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive, specialising in Conveyancing.

Working as an assistant under Danielle Newbon, who’s a Solicitor at B&P, Flora supports her in drafting stamp duty application forms, putting together contract packs and preparing land registry applications for residential purchasers.

She said: “I’m beginning to run my own sale files underneath Danielle’s supervision and progress reports to clients on title, mortgage and searches.”

Flora also contributes to exchanges and completions, while providing Bowcock & Pursaill’s clients with regular updates and communication.

The Paralegal commented: “I’m enjoying the friendly office environment, as everyone is very supportive of me and my training.

“I very much appreciate Bowcock & Pursaill’s commitment to development as they have put me through my qualifications to date and advocated my progression within the firm.”
