This is the third year in a row the staff at Bowcock & Pursaill have taken part in Christmas Jumper Day to raise cash for charity, and this year they excelled themselves with their natty festive knits.

While the national Christmas Jumper Day raises money for Save The Children, this year staff decided to support a charity closer to home – and their hearts – so every penny raised will support the Douglas Macmillan Hospice based in Blurton. This amazing charity provides support and care to over 3,000 patients with life-limiting illnesses each year in North Staffordshire, while also offering supportive care to their families and carers – free of charge.

Our Uttoxeter office team were the first to lead the charge, and set the bar high with an amusing array of winter woollies, closely followed by our Leek office who last year managed to raise more than £70 in donations.

This is not the first time Bowcock & Pursaill has supported the work of the hospice, as the firm support their annual Make A Will Month, which allows people to make a basic will free of charge with participating legal firms, in return for a donation or a legacy being made to the hospice.

Anyone who would like to make a donation to the Douglas Macmillan Hospice, or are interested in finding out more about their work, can log on to their website at www.dmhospice.org.uk
