After nearly half a century, Bowcock & Pursaill Legal Secretary Carol White is ready to hang up the apron and retire, while Legal Secretary Kay Pickford celebrates 30 years at the Leek office.

Carol has been a great part of the team at Bowcock & Pursaill since 1972 and has always been on hand to keep everyone in the Leek office organised.

Ian Naylor, partner at Bowcock & Pursaill Solicitors, said: “It’s an incredible achievement for us to see Carol reach 48 years and we wish her all the best in retirement. We know Carol will always succeed in everything she puts her mind to.

“We’re also excited to be celebrating Kay’s milestone of 30 years’ service with us and we hope to see her with us for many more years to come.”

While working at Bowcock & Pursaill, Kay has gained years of experience and is looking forward to many more years supporting the team at the Leek office.

Kay said: “I’m so proud to be part of the team at Bowcock & Pursaill, everyone is always ready to offer support and a helping hand. My secretarial skills have evolved greatly whilst here and I’ve used these skills to build my role in the business.

“When I first started with the team, I was worried the job would be boring, how wrong was I. I’ve loved the variety of work including criminal law, family law and litigation. Which are all very different to my hobbies of baking and reading.”
