Bowcock & Pursaill is supporting its newly recruited Litigation Assistant, Lucy-Anna in her dream of becoming a fully qualified Solicitor.

Lucy-Anna joined B&P’s Hanley-based Litigation Department in May 2022, assisting its dispute specialist, Tim Wolley with a wide range of cases. She commented: “So far, I have supported Tim on several disputes, covering topics such as property owner and tenant, probate and Wills, business and contractual and debt collection to name just a few!”

With a keen interest in the operations of the legal system, Lucy-Anna first began her legal journey as an undergraduate at Newcastle-upon-Tyne Law School. She continued her studies at Keele University and Staffordshire University before completing her Legal Practice Course. She later gained a master’s degree in law at Staffordshire University.

Lucy-Anna added: “I wanted to challenge myself and qualify in a profession which is interesting and intellectually stimulating. I always knew that I wanted to help others which inspired my ambition of becoming a qualified Solicitor alongside a team of specialists.”

Through her motivation, devotion and clear passion for law, Lucy-Anna has become a valuable member of B&P’s team. Demonstrating a professional, kind and caring approach, she assists our Hanley-based Litigation Department, helping clients understand their legal proceedings by adapting her communication skills and legal jargon to suit them.

Keen to develop her skills and knowledge in all areas of law, Lucy-Anna has flourished in our Litigation Department, surrounded by a welcoming and caring team who will support her on her journey to becoming a qualified Solicitor.

She said: “Litigation is a completely new area of law to me, but I have been embraced by a wonderful team whose support means such a lot to me! I cannot wait to excel in my law career with B&P and fulfil my dream of helping others!”
