We deal with a wide range of residential property transactions, including freehold and leasehold properties, new build properties, existing housing stock, and listed or semi-rural properties. As no two transactions are the same, each matter is handled individually.
Our fees vary depending on the nature and complexity of the transaction.
Typical fees range from approximately £650 plus VAT for straightforward or lower value transactions, up to approximately £3,000 plus VAT for more complex matters.
For example, transactions involving new build properties, leasehold properties, or more complex titles may incur higher fees than standard freehold transactions.
In order to provide an accurate estimate of costs, we require details of your specific transaction. We recommend using our online quote system to obtain a detailed and tailored quotation.
In addition to our legal fees, there are a number of disbursements (third-party costs) which may be payable. These may include:
These costs vary depending on the nature and value of the property and will be confirmed as part of your quotation.
Timescales will vary depending on the nature of the transaction and the parties involved.
A straightforward cash purchase may complete in as little as 2 weeks, however most transactions typically take between 6 and 12 weeks. More complex matters may take longer.
We recognise that buying or selling property can be a significant and sometimes stressful experience. Our aim is to provide:
We are committed to providing clear and transparent pricing.
At the outset of your matter, we will provide a cost estimate and explain what is included in our fees. If unexpected issues arise or additional work is required, we will inform you promptly and discuss any implications before further costs are incurred.
No additional charges will be made without your agreement.
