Joy Hancock becomes Partner at Bowcock & Pursaill

We’re pleased to announce that Joy Hancock is now a partner.

Joy first joined Bowcock & Pursaill’s legal family as an Associate Solicitor in 2018. Based at our Uttoxeter office, she possesses a wealth of experience within the commercial property sector. Using her extensive local knowledge and expertise, Joy takes a proactive and practical approach for her clients, a lot of whom she has worked with for many years.

Having embarked on a legal career in 1990 just as the property boom of 1987 came to an end, Joy originally completed a degree in Estate Management before becoming a Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives. Beginning her legal career training to be a Fellow, Joy subsequently completed a law conversion course at Staffordshire University in 2009 to become a solicitor specialising in property matters for clients.

As she takes on this exciting new appointment Joy is looking forward to many more years supporting and working alongside the team.

Joy said: “I’m incredibly proud to be recently appointed partner at Bowcock & Pursaill and to represent such a highly reputable legal firm. The team here are so friendly and approachable, while always maintaining a high degree of professionalism.”

She continued: “They really care about achieving the best outcomes for clients and staff. In an ever-changing legal landscape, it’s rare to see a law firm retain such outstanding core values which is something I look forward to being a part of.”

Fellow Partner, Catherine Whittles, said: “Joy’s property expertise is a great strength to our team and we’re pleased to have her as a Partner in the business. We look forward to continuing to support our clients and providing sensible legal advice with a friendly face.”
