Over the years we have built up a substantial Trust Department and we administer many Trusts. Frequently we act as a Trustee with or without others and this provides a degree of continuity of trusteeship. We advise on tax efficient structures for Trusts taking into account the ramifications of Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax, Income Tax and Stamp Duty Land Tax.
We are one of the few firms outside the major cities, who have the necessary expertise in this area. A Trust can be a particularly effective vehicle for those with significant wealth to ensure the preservation of their assets and the passing of them to subsequent generations.
