We act for a number of Property Developers and consider ourselves to be part of our client’s development team. We are often involved from the initial acquisition of the site and provide advice and assistance regarding planning agreements, building contracts and collateral warranties through to the ultimate sale of a developed site. We deal with all sizes of developments from small sites of a few units up to large city centre developments on brownfield sites. We have also been involved in greenfield development and farm diversification developments. We understand the need for a swift and efficient legal process and aim to liaise closely with the Land Registry, Local Authorities and Utility Companies.
We have experienced lawyers available with the expertise to deal with complex transactions, including the negotiation of overage provisions and clawbacks. We take a practical approach with the aim of reaching commonsense commercial solutions. It is our aim to co-operate fully with other lawyers and third parties involved in the transaction to ensure that deals are concluded quickly for the benefit of all parties and without unnecessary dispute or delay.
